Art doesn’t stop at watercolors and model sketching. It is an expression of what lies within, and flourishes in a place where color, words, and emotions can come together to manifest themselves into timeless pieces of beauty. School of the Arts at Spring Green is such a place. You can choose your workshops from 3 areas: Visual Arts, Writing, and Mind/Body/Spirit.
Creative exploration like this deserves a worthy landing place, and we have found it at the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Wyoming Valley School Cultural Arts Center, built in 1957, in honor of Frank’s mother, a kindergarten teacher.
Each weekend features workshops taught by renowned UW-Madison Continuing Studies instructors. The tough part will be choosing which workshop per weekend you want to attend. But choose you must, as each workshops runs a full weekend (10 hours of instruction total). The community of creativity continues throughout the day with instructor demonstrations, classroom visitations, and camaraderie with other artists.
Spend a beautiful Saturday and Sunday indulging your curiosity and taking a creative leap in a supportive, welcoming environment. We'll provide the morning coffee and tea, as well as boxed lunch and a cold beverage. Come explore the grounds and relish the time and space with a community of like-minded artists.
